THE AUTOBELL CAR WASH

        SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

I.       Requirements

         A.     Employment Status

                  1.   You must be currently employed by Autobell Car Wash.

                  2.   Eligible employees must have worked for Autobell Car Wash

                        consecutively for a minimum of 1 year.

                  3.   No continuing employment will be required to win a monetary

                        scholarship.

            B.        Eligible applicants must have a high school diploma or be a graduating

                        senior.

            C.        Eligible applicants must turn in a copy of an acceptance letter from an

                        accredited post-secondary educational institution with the scholarship

                        application. If an applicant is now attending college, submit a copy of last

                        semester's grades or a fall class schedule if available.
 

D.                Applicants must turn in a completed application by March 31^st.

            E.        References must be in written form from someone not affiliated with

                        Autobell Car Wash and who is not a relative of the applicant.

            F.         Applicants must complete a 500 to 1,000 word essay.  (The topic is

                        indicated on the application.)

II.          Selection Process

            A.        Autobell Car Wash will form a Selection Committee made up of District

                        Managers and Company Officers.

            B.        The Selection Committee will review all applications and material

                        submitted from each applicant.

III.         Presentation of Scholarship

            A.        The winner(s) of the scholarship(s) will be notified by the home office.

            B.        At time of notification, the winner(s) will be asked to submit a photograph

                        for the company newsletter.

            C.        The check will be made out directly to the college or university in

                        the winner’s name and may only be used for tuition purposes.

 SCHEDULE

1.                  Applications will be distributed to Managers at January meeting.

2.                  Managers will distribute applications to eligible employees by Jan. 31^st.

3.                  All applications and essays must be turned in to Kelly Crenshaw at the main office by March 31st.

4.                  All applicants will be notified by e-mail within three (3) days of receiving the application at the Home Office.  An e-mail will be sent to the address listed on the application.  If you have not received an e-mail from Autobell within a week of submitting your paperwork, please resend your application.

5.                  The Selection Committee reviews will be completed by April 30^th.

6.                  The winner(s) will be notified the first week of May.

 
Scholarship money is to be applied to the fall semester beginning in August 2012.
