Michael-Baer

Meet Michael Baer, the new store manager of #02 in Charlotte, NC.

How did you start working at Autobell?

I started working at Autobell right before Christmas back in 2013 when I was a senior in high school. My friend Anna was a crew member at store #1 in Charlotte, NC, and got me an interview. Shortly after the interview, I began my nearly six-year career at Autobell.

How do you feel about taking on this new opportunity?

I’m very excited to be taking on the role of store manager and have been looking forward to this opportunity since the day I got my MT2 certification. I knew right away I wanted to become a store manager.

What has kept you working at Autobell?

Some of the things that have kept me working for this company are the competition for being the best, providing a clean car to every customer that comes through our facilities, and that Autobell takes care of their team members and treats them fairly.

Are there any folks that have been instrumental in your success within the company?

Many people have helped me and trained me to get to where I’m at today, but one in particular is Ryan Meyer at the South Blvd location (#1 Charlotte, NC). Ryan taught me many things about the store and coached me on how to deal with customers and team members, as well as tricks and tips to getting things done more efficiently and safely. Ryan also believed in me when I told him I wanted to become a store manager and get my MT1 certificate. He helped me become the store manager I am today.

How do you Brighten the World by Helping Others Shine® at Autobell?

I help brighten the world by making sure all customers receive what they pay for as efficiently and safely as possible while making sure our customer service is the best. We warranty a clean car, and we don’t stop until the last customer leaves happy.

Tayler-Long

Meet Tayler Long, the new store manager of #22 in Shelby, NC.

How did you start working at Autobell?

A friend in one of my college classes was a manager at Autobell #7 in Lincolnton, NC, and helped me get hired. I was 18, and my start date was April 29, 2009.

How do you feel about taking on this new opportunity?

I’m incredibly grateful and excited to be moving up as the store manager of #22. It’s something I’ve wanted for a long time, and I’m going to continue to make this store grow with our awesome team members.

What has kept you working at Autobell?

I love getting to interact with existing customers, meeting new customers, and the employees. I like that the job is hands-on and has taught me a lot over the last ten years.

Are there any folks that have been instrumental in your success within the company?

John Snyder (Store Manager #34 Charlotte, NC) took over Lincolnton right after I got promoted to assistant manager. He immediately asked if I would ever want to be a store manager, and I said yes. John continued to help guide me towards becoming a store manager, even when he took over Shelby. He encouraged me to get MT1 certification and believed in me. He has helped me so much, and I owe it all to him for inspiring me to be the best at Autobell.

How do you Brighten the World by Helping Others Shine® at Autobell?

I do so by having a positive attitude, no matter what; training your employees to be the best and encouraging them; continuing to meet new customers and growing relationships with them.
