Meet Michael Evangelista, the new store manager of #74 in Lawrenceville, GA.

How did you start working at Autobell?

When I was 16, I was at lunch, and there was an Autobell recruitment table set up, so I walked over and asked about the job. I was handed an application, filled it out, then brought it up to the store #62 in Acworth, GA.

How do you feel about taking on this new opportunity?

I am super-excited about this new opportunity and position at Autobell. I knew one day that it would probably happen, but I didn’t realize it would come at 19. When I was asked about the position by District Manager Beau Watson, I was overwhelmed with joy. This opportunity doesn’t always come around so when it did, I took it and ran with it, and I will do everything I possibly can to be successful.

What has kept you working at Autobell?

The atmosphere at Autobell is like no other. I do not see it as just a place of work, but as a second home with all the people I have met through the years. The teamwork and friendships are what I strive to continue to seek here at Autobell. Autobell has opened my life up to a lot more possibilities.

Are there any folks that have been instrumental in your success within the company?

Both store manager of #62 DeShawn Underwood and District Manager Beau Watson are a huge part of my successes at Autobell. These two have done nothing but coach me and be fantastic role models throughout my time here thus far. I can always turn and ask them for help if I need it, and they will have my back. I appreciate everything that they have done for me and will continue to for years to come.

What advice would you give to an employee who is interested in making the most of their employment at Autobell?

Hard work will take you far! No matter how big or little a task may seem, everything ties together to form the big picture of Autobell. Helping others is what we do, and going above and beyond will take you a long way.

Are there any folks that have been instrumental in your success within the company?

My former store manager, Jarratt Pierce, is no longer with the company, but I owe everything I know to him. He has taught me so many things within Autobell and just in life in general. He’s always been there when I need help. He’s taught me things that no one else has. He’s taught me lessons that I will take with me forever. One thing he always told me, was to remain humble. I’m never too good and can still be better.
