When team members talked to me about personal issues because they felt comfortable communicating and seeking my feedback, I wanted to take the next step and become a store manager, hoping to impact more.

Tell us something about yourself we may find surprising?

I love cars! This is a perfect job for me to see all the different vehicles that come through the wash. Also, I am a people person, so getting to talk to people daily has made me some great friends, and I’ve met a lot of people.

Tell us how you plan to live out our purpose, Brighten the World by Helping Others Shine®?

I plan to do so by making an impact with every customer I can. I hope to get to know my regular customers and meet new people. And I want to impact all my team members and hlep them have the drive for the same things and be able to influence others the same way.

Meet Carson Hutto, the new store manager at Autobell #15 in Charlotte, NC.

Tell us how you feel about becoming a Store Manager for Autobell?

When I received the call on becoming a Store manager for Autobell, I was extremely blessed and excited. From the first day I started working for Autobell, I fell in love with the environment and the people within our great company.

Tell us about the most impactful experience you had with a team member or customer at Autobell?

It was a really busy Saturday down at store #70 in Charlotte, NC. Jerome Hopper (store manager) and I were on the front lot when we both noticed a customer pulling out a lawn chair from the back of her vehicle. At first, we believed that she was reorganizing her vehicle so we could maneuver around to give her the service that she needed. However, she walked away, set up her chair in our grass, sat down, and then watched our team members clean cars. Jerome approached the customer and asked her if she needed any assistance. She replied, "I came to see the show."

It may be hard to believe, but before starting at Autobell, I tended to be very shy around others. As I worked more and more, I communicated daily with customers, and my team members have helped me break out of my "shell."

I will treat every customer like it is their first visit and go the extra mile to put a smile on his/her face. I want my team members to look at me as an example to follow every day and be someone they can look to for answers.
