Autobell has been my first and only job. I started working at Autobell in August of 2014 at store #42 in Charlotte, NC.

Tell us how you plan to live out our purpose, Brighten the World by Helping Others Shine®?

Autobell's purpose is essential to me, mainly because I share the same purpose. I like to bring happiness out in others. As a store manager, I'm allowed to put smiles on the face of every customer at the car wash. I have the opportunity to hire, train, and develop others to do the same. My goal is to have a staff full of team members who share the same values and purpose of Autobell.

I am very excited to have this opportunity to be a store manager for Autobell. I’ve been with Autobell since 2014, and saying that this company takes care of its employees is an understatement. Autobell has given me this significant experience that most people don’t get. I’ve met so many people through Autobell throughout these past five or so years, and it is something I would never take back. With being a store manager now, I feel as though a door has been opened for me to take on new challenges and make a name for myself.

Tell us about the most impactful experience you had with a team member or customer at Autobell?

The most impactful experience I had with a customer was rather recent. A PTA parent from Ragsdale High School was looking for a way to get Autobell involved in their silent auction event. She had reached out to me about it, and Autobell sent her vouchers to handout at the event. It impacted me because it gave me the sensation of giving back to the community where I grew up. I also noticed that she had left a very excellent review of our location on Facebook and recommended our car wash to her friends.

I plan on helping Autobell carry out its purpose by simply leading by example and providing the best service I can and pass that knowledge onto my team. My number one task is to empower my team to show our customers that they are making the right decision to choose us over the competition.

It’s honestly hard to find the words to describe how exactly I feel to be a Store Manager for the company I’ve worked at for so long. Being in charge of my store makes me nervous, but I have worked alongside many great store managers. They have prepared for this moment for a while now.

Tell us about the most impactful experience you had with a team member or customer at Autobell?

Right after a heavy snow, a car was driving by and got stuck in a snow pile. Another team member and I were shoveling snow in our parking lot when we noticed the stuck vehicle. We stopped clearing our lot and went over to assist the stuck car by shoveling the snow from under their car and then helped push them free. The individual was very grateful and became a regular customer.

Grateful, I can't express how excited and happy I am for this opportunity. It's been one of the most significant decisions I ever had to make between Autobell or college. At Store #19, one late afternoon, someone's car was overheating from the radiator leaking. He quickly pulled into Autobell, asking us to use our water hose. We happily acted and helped him by filling his radiator up for him to get to the nearest shop. He is now a customer that continues to come back.
